Taking the test in Chinese
DriveTest's list of languages for the computer G1 knowledge test includes Chinese (Cantonese). The list has no other form of Chinese, such as Mandarin.
Computer tests come with full audio and are given first come, first served. Only some DriveTest Centres have computer tests, so check with the centre before you go.
You can also make an appointment for a verbal test given by a DriveTest employee and bring your own interpreter. The verbal test costs nothing extra, but you pay your interpreter. Interpreters must show proof of their qualifications, and the rules differ between regions of Ontario; see DriveTest's Translators & Languages page.
Road tests are only in English or French, and no interpreter may ride in the car.
The official driver's handbook is available online at ontario.ca; see the link in the sources below.
