Towing a disabled vehicle
MTO Driver’s Handbook: Your Vehicle, Towing disabled vehicles
If your vehicle breaks down, you should get help from a tow truck designed to tow vehicles.
If you must use another vehicle to tow, use warning signals or emergency flashers and make sure you attach the vehicles securely. Someone must sit in the disabled vehicle and use the brakes to keep the tow cable tight.
